Most of the best lambswool yarn originates in Australia, and the best of the best from a place called Geelong. It is then processed in Scotland and knitted into pullovers and other garments. Our mens lambswool range is made from pure 2ply lambswool yarn knitted using 15 guage needles, and our ladies lambswool range is made from fine Geelong yarn knitted using 21 guage needles, and carries the pure geelong label. Lambswool has a natural stretch which allows it to fit the body well, it also is a breathable fibre so it retains heat but keeps moisture away from the body. It is a very soft wool too, and is collected at lambs first shearing.
